Acupuncture, Cupping and Tuning Fork Therapy
Acupuncture is an ancient therapy that employs sterilized, single-use needles to stimulate the body’s cell receptors to send impulses to the brain. The brain then releases certain hormones and chemicals that can reduce pain, increase blood flow, regulate the endocrine system, and calm the nervous system, thus, balancing the whole body for self-healing. These sessions can treat more than one specific issue while promoting general well-being and stress-reduction.

Mini Acupuncture session on arm, leg, head acupoints 30-45 min. $55
An abbreviated yet still powerful acupuncture treatment and may be a good session for beginners. This treatment can be delivered with you lying face up on our comfortable massage table or sitting up. You need only to have the lower legs and lower arms free of clothing. Any condition or pain area can be treated with the lower legs and arms. It is not always necessary to place needles in the trouble spot.
Stress Reduction ear/head acupuncture 30-45 min. $50
This treatment can be delivered with you lying down on our comfortable massage table or sitting up. The acupoints chosen for this therapy invoke calming of the mind and pain areas as well as balancing of major organs and the nervous system. Tiny needles are used on a few head points and the external fleshy parts of the ears. Many patients choose to listen to music or a guided meditation during the session and some even fall asleep! A quick way to de-stress during a lunch break, after work or before you tackle a project.
Tuning Fork Session on arm, leg & head acupoints 30-45 min. $55
Using the Acutonics® System Tuning Forks (which are tuned to the universe’s planetary harmonic intervals) on the acupoints is a needle-free form of acupuncture. Specific tuning forks are chosen according to their healing properties (building up, calming down, opening up, etc.) and the sound vibrations act on the acupoints. The therapy is performed with the patient lying down on the massage table. A very pleasant non-invasive therapy appreciated by musicians and non-musicians alike.
Cupping with Rhonda Cook
Cupping is a modern form of vacuum therapy which creates a suction/negative pressure to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, move deep inflammation to the skin surface for release, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways. When used in a treatment series, the results are cumulative. Yet even in a single treatment, a long-term physical issue may be resolved!
*Please be aware that cupping can leave colored markings. These are not bruises and they are not sore spots. They are good signs that blood stagnation has been broken up and poor circulation will be improved. The markings usually last a few days to a week. If you have an upcoming special event where clothing may show the markings, schedule with this in mind.
Relax the Back- back/neck/upper chest cupping, 30 min. $55
Your neck and back pain are often connected to one another. With so much work being done on computers this is a common complaint. The upper back and neck muscles are connected to the upper chest muscles so it’s a good idea to relax all of these areas with cupping. Low back pain may continue into the buttocks area and/or side muscles so cupping the lower and side areas relate to pain relief.
Achy Legs and Feet- legs and feet cupping, 30-45 min. $55
Our legs and feet take a lot of abuse. Whether we stand a lot or sit a lot, there is weight and stress on our legs and feet. This treatment is designed to relax the muscles and invigorate the blood flow in our lower limbs. Very good for those with poor circulation and/or restless legs, athletes, and workers who stand or sit for long hours.
