Deep Tissue Massage breaks up and releases the built-up toxins by loosening the muscles. With the toxins released, blood and oxygen can circulate as they should through one’s body. It can also break up and eliminate scar tissue from previous injuries. A common problem is that stressed muscles can block nutrients and oxygen from getting to where they need to go, and this will cause inflammation that allows toxins to build up in your muscle tissue. The inflammation and toxins contribute to pain and stress.
Being properly hydrated before you go to your massage appointment and drinking plenty of water after every massage is highly recommended.
Hot Stones Massage

A deeply relaxing combination of client centered table massage interspersed with the use of warmed basalt stones. These are placed at various points on the body to encourage increased circulation, ease of tension, and a sense of grounding energy. Therapists will also hold the stones, repeatedly passing over and working tense muscles. The penetrating heat from the stones helps soften the tissue for a deeply relaxing experience.
